1. Our principle
GUIDE PLAYER LLC respects all intellectual property rights, including copyright and related rights, and expects the same from our users. We oppose the use of GUIDE PLAYER to access unauthorised content and do not encourage, promote or facilitate such use in any way.
2. We host no content
- No content, channel list or content source is preloaded in the App.
- GUIDE PLAYER LLC does not publish, recommend or link to lists of any service offering content.
- Playlists users add and what they watch are not sent to us; we cannot see or monitor them.
So if you believe content is being made available without permission, the most effective route is to notify the service offering it, its hosting provider or the competent authorities. Removing or blocking the App does not remove the infringement at its source.
3. What you can report to us
- Material on this Site or in the App itself (text, images, code) that you believe infringes your rights;
- The GUIDE PLAYER name or logo being used to promote a service selling unauthorised content or subscriptions;
- Modified copies of the App distributed with preloaded unauthorised playlists.
4. What to include
Send your notice to [email protected] with the following. These elements follow the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)) and may also be used for notices under the EU Digital Services Act and Turkish Law No. 5846:
- A physical or electronic signature of the rights holder or a person authorised to act on their behalf;
- Identification of the work or right claimed to be infringed;
- Identification of the material and information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it (e.g. page URL, app version, screenshot);
- Your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address;
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law;
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorised to act on behalf of the rights holder.
Incomplete notices may not be processed. Bad-faith or false notices may create legal liability.
5. What we do
We review valid notices within a reasonable time and remove or disable access to infringing material under our control. We take action against third parties misusing the GUIDE PLAYER name and, where appropriate, notify the relevant app store or hosting provider. We will contact the notifying party and, where necessary, the party who posted the material.
6. Counter-notice
If you believe material was removed by mistake, send a counter-notice to [email protected] including your signature, identification of the material and its former location, a good-faith statement that it was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification, your name, address and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the relevant court.
7. Repeat infringers
We reserve the right to use all remedies permitted by law against anyone who repeatedly infringes our rights or those of rights holders.
